Makhachkala, October 30, 2014. The "Panorama" creative club for filmgoers opened in Makhachkala yesterday. This is a place for experienced movies makers, film enthusiasts, and young active people seeking to devote themselves to filmmaking to realize their creative potential.

The club's priority is setting up a documentary forum for film enthusiasts. Members will watch films, discuss them, and share experiences. They also plan to conduct master classes.

In Russia, there is a professional community of the Documentary Film and Television Guild which focuses on promoting non-professional movies in the country, and if the film club shows good work, the guild is ready to help them develop.

Abdula Bechedov, a guild member and a member of the Russian Filmmakers Union, who is also the head of the "Panorama" film club commented that "if the club operates on the level, the guild will provide us with documentaries from their reserves. Moreover, the guild experts hold different kind of workshops; perhaps they will organize similar events on our platform."

"Panorama" will be open once a month in the conference room of the Rasul Gamzatov National Library in Makhachkala.
