Confectioner from Dagestan wins silver at European Championships in Culinary Arts

Makhachkala, March 20, 2018. Within the framework of the European Culinary Championship "Expo Sweet 2018", the confectioner from Dagestan Shahsalan Isayeva made a cake in the form of a space mermaid. The 8 judges from different countries of the world evaluated Isayeva’s piece of culinary art.

Shahsalan liked cooking since childhood thanks to her mother. In culinary art, the Dagestani confectioner achieved great success. She became the winner of the European Culinary Championship "Expo Sweet 2018".
The competition was held in Warsaw. Shahsalan made a cake in "fantasy" style. Her “cosmic mermaid” surprised the venerable jury.

It was not so easy to get to the championship. Within three years, Shahsalan passed several qualifying rounds. First, she won first place in the contest in Moscow. Then she won in Voronezh, after which she became the prize-winner of the International Championship in Minsk.
