Makhachkala, February 8, 2016. On February 5 the small hall of the Russian Music and Drama Theatre within the framework of the All-Russian patriotic program "Roads of Victory" hosted the festival of patriotic song "Children of Victory". The artistic groups and performers of songs from different regions of the Northern Caucasus have become the festival participants. The theme of patriotism, peace and respect for the history of Russia run through all the performances.

The soloists of the children’s ensembles "Arabesque-M", "Children of the mountains” and "Children of the Caucasus" presented interesting choreography. The gala concert ended with a massive bright flash mob to the song "Paint the dream".

Baysangur Azaev from the Republic of Ingushetia shared that his song "Officers" with which he performed at the festival was one of his favorite ones. "The officers are the Patriots, they are not afraid to stand up to defend the homeland. This song I sing on the stage for about a year", - the boy told.

When asked why children need to sing patriotic songs, the participants from the Chechen Republic Karina Dideeva responded this way: "We must not forget how much a lot of moms who were waiting for their sons suffered. Their sons, the war veterans achieved the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Then they worked hard to recover the homeland".
