Makhachkala, September 14, 2017. On September 11-16, the innovation-educational project "Mobile robotics laboratory" of the business incubator "Peri Innovation" is holding a series of master classes on robotics in Derbent and the village of Tsmur of Suleiman-Stalsky district, the press service of the organization reports.

Within the framework of the project, thousands of children took part in the master classes "Gear Mechanisms", "Robot Assembly and Programming", "Robot Football" and "Robosumo". Besides, the quizzes, competitions and an exhibition of robots have been organized for the children. The kids took great interest in a model of robot capable of giving full answers to any given question and an exhibit that independently assembles a Rubik's cube, a robotic snake and many other mechanisms.

The director of branch of the Peri Charitable Foundation in the Republic of Dagestan Zaur Omarov noted that robotics positively influences the development of thinking. "The issues of introducing robotics and computer programming in the educational process, starting with the primary school, is now much topical. The republican educational institutions are interested in our robotics laboratory. We accept many proposals to hold events in different schools and this is very encouraging" - Omarov confessed.  

Noteworthy, the business incubator Peri Innovations is engaged in the development of youth entrepreneurship in the field of technology, providing access to the relevant IT knowledge and expanding opportunities for the success of start-ups from Dagestan.
