Makhachkala, April 3, 2019. The first social café staffed by people with disabilities has opened in Makhachkala. On April 1, a social cafe focused on the employment of people with disabilities was officially opened in Makhachkala. As to the head of the Life Without Tears NGO, the unique cafe will hire people with disabilities.

15 people with disabilities, including mental and psychophysical disorders are the first employed by the cafe administration. The work in the cafe will trigger the socialization of citizens.

The institution is fully accessible for the people with limited mobility. This is the first project in Russia, to which we have no analogues. In the test mode, the cafe started working at the end of last year, providing an opportunity for the young people with physical restrictions to try their hand at work, get paid and be a full member of society.
