British journalist Oliver Carroll spent his spring vacation in Dagestan. He shared his impressions of trip with the readers of the British edition “The Independent”. In the publication, he narrated on the republic, especially noting the development of rural tourism in Dagestan. The journalist took part in shearing the sheep and even milked a cow. Carroll also noted that in connection with the pandemic in Russia, domestic tourism has become popular and the mountains of Dagestan are currently the most fashionable touristic route in the country.
