Belarusian TV channel shoots plot on Dagestan

Makhachkala, November 10, 2016. A film crew of the Belarusian TV channel "Breath of the planet", broadcasting on the Belarusian ONT TV channel, has arrived in Dagestan to shoot a documentary on the republic, the press-service of Dagestan Ministry of National Policy reports.

The crew administrator Tengiz Dumbadze informed that the 45-minute reportage would tell about the historical and cultural heritage of Dagestan. As informed, the Belarusian journalists had already visited the ancient Russian city - Derbent and Suleiman Stalsky district of Dagestan. The group of journalists intends to meet with the Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov.

"Breath of the Planet" is a program telling about the interesting facts, events and the ethnic diversity of residents of different countries. The reportage about Dagestan will be shown within the framework of the project "25 years after the USSR", a story about life in the 15 republics being the part of the Soviet Union.

During the visit, the journalists visited the Republican House of Friendship. By the way, the House of Friendship collects the national folk instruments of the peoples of Dagestan, ethnic clothes, shoes and jewelry. The journalists especially interested in the exposition of the Museum of Friendship of Peoples of Russia.  

At the meeting with the republic’s minister for national policy Tatyana Gamaley, the journalists discussed the political situation in the republic, the issues of economic cooperation of Dagestan and Belarus and the establishment of tourism ties between the regions.
