Makhachkala, July 24, 2018. The international project "Legends and Traditions" by manager of the TV channel “Servus”, the author and director from Austria Dick O'Hara is being filmed in Dagestan nowadays. O'Hara arrived in the republic last week and had already filmed a significant part of the material.

O'Hara came to Dagestan at the invitation of the “Visit Dagestan” project manager Makhach Vagabov, who accompanies him on the trips to the places of filming.

- Dick is completely shocked by our nature, the panoramas. He repeatedly requests us to stop the car to make some photos ... - Vagabov said.

The film about Dagestan is not O'Hara's first work on Russia. He already told European audiences about the beauties of Karelia. The ten-day filming session will result in an hour and a half documentary, in which the viewer will see Derbent, abandoned Amuzgi, Kubachi, Gunib, Goor and many other auls and landmarks, as well as get familiarized with the crafts of Dagestan and learn the history and legends of the mountainous region.
