Augmented reality for teaching medical students demonstrated in Dagestan
As to the press service of the business incubator, the event takes place in Dagestan State Medical University. "The augmented reality is one of the most advanced trends in education. Therefore, we decided to present the stand devoted to the augmented reality technology, as a tool for facilitating the training of medical students. It works this way: one places a phone over the image to the object in 3D-visualization. It can be both a beating heart or an organ in section where the work of each valve is shown. There are many additional opportunities" - Said Amirov a specialist in virtual and augmented reality of PERI Innovations said.
Besides, the other Dagestani organizations and universities presented their inventions within the framework of the event. In particular, the company "Domalogika" presented the "Fresh Water" project aimed at making more available the vending machines selling drinking water. Thus, the water selling machines are the company's own development.
Within the framework of the forum, a plenary session was held, the participants of which touched upon the topics of transformation of modern medical science, the development of future scientists' competencies and the interdisciplinarity as success factors in youth science.
At the plenary session, Ruslan Ruzanov, the head of the Accelerated programs department of "PERI Innovations" spoke on the possibilities of commercialization of results of scientific research conducted in the business incubator.
The "Unity" Forum is annually held in Dagestan state university with a view to support the talented youth, to create conditions for disclosing their creative abilities and to attract them to scientific and innovative activities.
