57 orphans provided with housing in Dagestan in 2014

Makhachkala, December 17, 2014. About 60 orphans and children left without parental care got apartments of their own in 2014, expert of Dagestan ministry of education and science Djamal Atayev told RIA Dagestan.

"To date, we have got reports on housing 57 orphans in cities and regions of Dagestan. But this information will be updated every day because this work is still underway and orphans will keep on being housed. 283 orphans and children left without parental care are expected to get housed this year. 80 million roubles from the state budget and 143.8 million roubles from the republican budget have been allocated to provide housing for orphans in 2014," the source said.

Atayev added that until the end of the year, the Makhachkala government plans to purchase housing worth 83.9 million roubles or 67 persons and the Derbent government plans to purchase housing for 19 persons worth 19.4 million roubles.
