Makhachkala, December 9, 2016. About 500 young families will receive new apartments before the end of the year, a spokesman of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan says.

"As part of the federal target program providing housing for the young families in Dagestan, two apartment houses for 500 young families will be put into operation in Kizlyar and Kaspiysk till the end of 2016" – the official is quoted saying.

In accordance with the state program 628 apartments for the young families in the cities of Makhachkala, Kaspiysk, Derbent, DagOgni, Kizilyurt and the village of Tubeh have been commissioned in 2016. In 2017, the new apartments will be commissioned for the young families in Khasavyurt and Kizilyurt. In total it is planned to build 5 more apartment buildings in Khasavyurt, Kizilyurt, Kaspiysk and Kizlyar. More than 5 thousand young families are in need for improvements in housing in Dagestan.
