It is planned to open more than 40 modular feldsher-obstetric centers under the national project "Public Health Care" in Dagestan, the Government of the republic reports. “The facilities will meet all the requirements, for the midwifery units are not only providing primary health care, but also preventive work with the population, immunization, emergency medical care, patronage of patients at home, medical appointments, etc.” - the Public Health Minister of Dagestan Djamaludin Khajiyibragimov is quoted saying.

By the end of this year, modular units will appear in 15 villages, the land for their installation had already been allocated. The financial means for these purposes will be allocated from the federal budget as part of the national Health Care project. The main goal of the regional project “Development of the primary health care system” is to ensure optimal accessibility of medical organizations that provide primary health care for the population.
