Makhachkala, April 13, 2015. In Dagestan, more than 150 people will take part in a bike ride dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a source in the republican ministry of youth affairs reported RIA Dagestan.

Members of the Youth Cultural Centre and officials from Dagestani municipalities met today in the Resource Center Office to discuss the upcoming campaign. The parties disputed on organization of the bike ride, its goals and objectives, and the requirements for participants of the event.

The bike ride aims at patriotic education of youth, involving young people in cycling, and strengthening interethnic friendship between Dagestani peoples.
The ride will start off on May 6 in Akusha village, Akusha region. Then, the participants will ride through Mugi village, Levashi village, Sergokala village, Pervomaisk village, Izberbash, and Kaspiysk to finish in Makhachkala.
