State bodies must help citizens to set up life - Ramazan Abdulatipov

Makhachkala, May 14, 2015. Yesterday, May 14, Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov met with the head of Kizilyurtovsky district Magomed Shabanov to discuss the issues of socio-economic development of the municipality.

The district consists of 16 settlements, united in 13 rural municipalities. Anticipating the conversation Ramazan Abdulatipov noted that Kizilyurtovsky district is quite a large area inhabited by over 65 thousand residents and inquired about the work of the local authorities.

Magomed Shabanov, in turn, assured that the socio-political situation in the municipality is under the strict control of the local administration. In Shabanov’s words the municipal state bodies engage in execution of the priority projects of the republic: “All the settlements identified responsible persons in the rank of the deputy heads of administration supervising the direction and progress implementation of each item of priority projects. The scheduled activities are constantly adjusted depending on the settings of the executive power of the republic.”

Having heard to the municipal official’s report Ramazan Abdulatipov praised the positive changes taking place in the municipality and at the same time, called for work to improve in some other areas: "The head of the municipality is mobile and active, but some indicators cause doubt this year. In particular, we are talking about actualization of land plots and objects of capital construction. "

During the meeting, the parties also touched upon the development of the agricultural sector as the leading sector of the regional economy. The deputy Prime Minister RD Sharip Sharipov supervising this sphere reported that by the end of 2014 the municipality displayed an increase in production of gross agricultural output by 19%, whereas in the Republic this figure is 8.7%. Within the framework of the Year of Horticulture in the region, the agricultural enterprises planted 78 hectares of gardens. Among other things, the head of the district mentioned the launch of the largest milk processing facility in the village of Stalsky, the implementation of projects for the production of poultry meat, the creation of ostrich farm and a machine-technological station.

Analyzing the progress of work under the priority project "Human capital" Ramazan Abdulatipov noted with satisfaction the commissioning of new kindergartens, sports facilities and a mini football field in the municipality.
