Ships of Iranian flotilla to conduct joint exercises in Caspian Sea

Makhachkala, October 17, 2017. A group of warships of the Caspian flotilla of the Iranian Navy will visit the port of Makhachkala for a joint exercise during a three-day march through the Caspian Sea.

As reported by Tasnim agency with reference to the commander of Iranian fleet Bandar Anzali, a group of ships including the large anti-submarine ship and a missile boat left Iran on Saturday for a three-day sea campaign.

The joint exercises with Russia are planned for the exchange of experience of seamen. For this purpose, the ships will arrive in the port of Makhachkala.

Earlier this summer, the ships of the Caspian fleet of the Russian Navy came to the Iranian port of Bender-Enzeli with an unofficial visit within the framework of military cooperation strengthening company.
