Ramazan Abdulatipov visits the exposition of Dagestan at "Sochi-2015" Forum

Sochi, October 2, 2015. Yesterday, October 1, on the eve of the official opening of the XIV International Investment Forum "Sochi-2015", the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov accompanied by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment RD Yusup Umavov visited the exposition of the Republic.

Noteworthy, this year Dagestan presents 57 investment projects in Sochi, including those implemented within the framework of the priority regional development programs.

"We show our work in all directions; import substitution, the industry and agriculture development projects implemented in terms of the republican interior policy of “economy de-shadowing", the taxes payment rates improvement etc. It seems to me it will be interesting, first, for the leaders of regions. I saw such a step-by-step program in Tatarstan only. Our task is to go to the next stage of implementation of these programs. The analysis conducted shows what remains to do, and what the priorities for the next three years are. There is, for example, the latest development of the plant "Aviaagregat" - a modern aircraft, as well as a number of developments in microelectronics, which will no doubt be interested for the investors. I think we are implementing them through the programs of the Industry Ministry RD"- Ramazan Abdulatipov said.

"Of course, we demonstrate Derbent in different ways: as a tourist town for example. Besides, we presented a navigator for Derbent, which will be available for tourists"- the Head of Dagestan continued.

According to the Head of the region, Dagestan has successfully implemented a number of large investment projects. Sochi-2015 Forum should display more investment activity. Such events may transform into "growth points" and the place of promotion for a number of specific projects. We need investments, therefore, we will raise the issues of import and capital substitution mainly because no idea can be realized without investments"- R.Abdulatipov expressed confidence.

Let us remind within the framework of the Forum it is expected to sign agreements on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation with Rostov region and the Republic of Crimea. Dagestan delegation will also sign a document on cooperation with the Federal Republic Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises and the agreement between the Ministry for Trade and the "Holding Company" Synergy" LLC.
