Makhachkala, March 24, 2015. On March 23, Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov met with Alexander Konovalov the Minister of Justice, who arrived in Dagestan on a working visit.

Having greeted the honored guest, Ramazan Abdulatipov expressed confidence that the concerted efforts of the federal agencies and executive authorities in the region would lead to positive results. "We need to restore the legal norms in Dagestan, because many of the processes and people actually were out of control. Perhaps the main problem of Dagestan is concluded in these spheres. We are interested in returning to the legal field and do a lot of things for it"- Dagestani Head said.

According to Ramazan Abdulatipov, the visit of the Minister of Justice of Russia to Dagestan was an important event that could be interpreted as  the start of many positive changes in the sphere of law and order:  "I think we will be able to carry out activities on the national and inter-regional level with your participation and to get your legal assistance and support in the future."

In his turn, Alexander Konovalov said:  "Dagestan is a special region for Russia, it is a symbol of the Northern Caucasus, because nowhere in the world, probably, there are so many nationalities and cultures living in a relatively small area. Here, the ancient traditions of Caucasian peoples are still preserving. It is important that the legal authority becomes effective and fair. Then people will understand and accept it and live in accordance with the law".

Besides, Alexander Konovalov stated that the regional office of the Russian Justice Ministry and the corresponding structures functioned effectively in Dagestan.

In conclusion, Ramazan Abdulatipov presented Rasul Gamzatov’s book to the high-ranking guest.
