Makhachkala, April 17, 2014. Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov met with Daghestan State Academic Dance Ensemble "Lezghinka".

Ramazan Abdulatipov, Daghestan Prime Minister Khizri Shikhsaidov and the minister of culture Zarema Butaeva watched the renowned ensemble hold a rehearsal.

Sharing his impressions with the ensemble, Ramazan Abdulatipov gave a few ideas as for the choreography details and costumes. The Daghestan head considers it important to skillfully combine modern arrangement of the national dance and the ancient traditions. After all, "Lezghinka" is a carrier of a classical Daghestan folk culture.

He thinks some national costumes lack brightness, they should be more picturesque; so he promised the ensemble to help the them fund creating of the new costumes for producing one of the dances.

"Lezghinka" is a historic ensemble, a talented team. I really like dances such as Kumyk and Dido dances. But it seems to me that the ensemble lacks epic compositions to demonstrate not only the choreography but the whole Daghestan culture. The Antsukh dance is of great importance, but it should be thoroughly elaborated. It is critical to observe all the traditions given that Daghestani have always been correct to the girls even in a dance,"- said Ramazan Abdulatipov.

"For 2015, we are allocating about RUR 30 million to fund designing of a centre for "Lezginka", and in a year later its construction will begin. Dancing is a really tough job, and the dancers have to be provided all the necessary comfort. Moreover, on the basis of "Lezginka", we can organize Daghestan Folk Dance Competition,"- said Daghestani Leader.

With his support, the ensemble assured they were ready to take their creativity and Daghestan culture with full dedication to every corner of the globe from a mountain village in Daghestan to a European city.
