Ramazan Abdulatipov: Dagestan and Stavropol have good prospects for cooperation

Stavropol, March 23, 2015. The event on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of founding the Representative Office of Dagestan in Stavropol Territory has taken place in the city of Stavropol. Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov, the governor of the Stavropol region Vladimir Vladimirov, the Permanent Representative of Dagestan in Stavropol Territory Abdullah Omarov and the other honored guests attended the meeting.

In his speech, Vladimir Vladimirov praised the work of Dagestan Representative Office in Stavropol. For his return, Ramazan Abdulatipov pointed out that the Stavropol Territory authorities created a friendly atmosphere for every Dagestani who arrive in the region on business and leisure.

"I think that Vladimir Vladimirov is a promising and cultural leader. It is very important that he does everything to develop cooperation between two regions", - Dagestan Leader pointed out.

According to R. Abdulatipov, despite all the difficulties, it has become possible to preserve the unity of the peoples of Dagestan. Noting the importance of socio-economic development of the subject, he stated: "As for me, the main goal is to build a correct model of development!". He also reported that the cultural environment and people's minds had been gradually changing in the republic. Besides, Abdulatipov drew attention to the fact that It was therefore time to change the political, economic and social situation in Dagestan.

"We quitted working and cultivating our land. We’ll gain nothing until we begin to produce! It has been done much more for two years. For example, in 2012, about RUR 400 million were allocated for planting grapes on 900 hectares. In 2013, there were allocated RUR 200 million and we planted 2,000 hectares, so now we are planting every year. I think Dagestanis want to live in a new civilized society. As for me Dagestan is the highly cultured republic, but it needs to be developed in an civilized way"- he noted.

"We have to make Dagestan more modern and, at the same time, to preserve our traditions, always remaining within the legislative environment. Besides, we are obliged to support the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin!" - Abdullatipov stressed and urged the Permanent Mission of Dagestan in Stavropol Territory to ensure logical and efficient workflow.
