Makhachkala, August 20, 2014. Today, August 20, Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov met with the deputy Minister of Agriculture RF Andrei Volkov. The meeting took place on the eve of open discussion on issues of agriculture and rural development in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. The meeting in Makhachkala is devoted to the discussion of the draft Federal Law "On grapes and wine".

Ramazan Abdulatipov, in particular, noted that the agriculture is the key sector of the republican economy.

"The agricultural sector - is the main lever and the first project able to draw the republic out fr om the crisis. One of the most important areas we have identified is the development of viticulture, and its curator in the Government of Daghestan, at my request is Khizri Shihsaidov. We have many problems in this area: the destroyed state and collective farms and a complicated land use policy. Random people deal with land and real farmers are not admitted to the practical use of land. Now the situation is getting better"- Daghestani Head said.

Ramazan Abdulatipov highlighted the need to attract modern managers for the sale of agricultural products and the development of agricultural logistics, recalling past rally of agricultural producers of Daghestan on August 15, wh ere it was decided to raise funds for the establishment of logistics centers for storage and processing of agricultural products, including table grapes.

Andrei Volkov, for its part, also noted the importance of logistics development in the field of agriculture.
