Ramazan Abdulatipov and Abdussamad Gamidov participate in the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev

Makhachkala, July 2, 2014. Daghestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov and Daghestan Prime Minister Abdusamad Gamidov took part in an official sitting of the Government Commission on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasian Federal District, held by Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in Northern Ossetia, a source in the press service of Daghestani Head and government’s administration reports.

The meeting also discussed the progress of the state industrial policy on the territory of North Caucasian Federal District and all the issues related.

In his statement, Dmitry Medvedev said that the industrial development of North Caucasus Federal District is carried out within the Russian Government approved the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of North Caucasus Federal District until 2025, also a draft Plan of measures for its implementation and the state program of the Russian Federation "Development of the North Caucasus Federal District until 2025" (including federal targeted programs "South of Russia (2014-2020)."

"The priorities of the Development Strategy of the North Caucasian Federal District in the field of industry development are to support the modernization process, to develop manufacturing facilities and to stimulate the creation of new modern manufacturing enterprises" - Dmitry Medvedev pointed out.

 The Prime Minister RF also noted that four industrial parks are close to be formed in Daghestan.

The meeting was attended by the deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Sergei Melikov, the minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Lev Kuznetsov, the minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Livanov, the minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, the representatives of departments and the heads of regions.
