Makhachkala, April 22, 2015. On April 21, the chairman of Daghestan Legislative Assembly Khizri Shikhsaidov held a meeting on organizational issues of the Russian Wrestling Championship, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the parliamentary information and analytical department informs RIA "Daghestan".

The deputy Daghestan Prime Minister Ramazan Jafarov, the head of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Dagestan Nariman Kazimagomedov, Dagestan Minister for Physical Culture and Sports Magomed Magomedov, his deputy Zainal Salautdinov, the Finance Minister Ali Islamov, and other officials attended the meeting.

Zainal Salautdinov informed that about 300 athletes from seven federal districts of Russia would participate in the competition that will take place in Kaspiysk on May 7 - 10.

Besides, the renowned guests - athletes and coaches from Stavropol and Krasnodar regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are expected to arrive in Dagestan. A special cultural program is prepared for the guests and contestants.

The meeting participants discussed the organizational questions for the competition. The chairman of Daghestan Legislative Assembly Khizri Shikhsaidov pointed out that the event is held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Victory and had to be organized at the proper level.
