International contest of seamanship and field training "Caspian Sea -2015" to be held in Dagestan

Makhachkala, March 19, 2015. In August 2015, an international contest of seamanship and field training among the crews of surface ships and marine personnel carriers of the Caspian Basin countries "Caspian-2015" will take place in Dagestan, the press service of Dagestani Head and the government administration reports.

"The information about the contest comes from the Russian Defense Ministry. The event will take place in three stages: the competitions for seamanship, field training and athletic competition. Apart from the countries of the Caspian basin (Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iran), the representatives of China and India will attend the upcoming competition.

Such a competition is held for the first time. We have already met with the commander of the Caspian flotilla and expressed willingness to provide maximum support for the success of the contest. This event should be taken seriously for it is a disposal of Dagestani Head. A special working group for the preparation to the international contest "Caspian Sea - 2015" has been formed.
