Makhachkala, December 14, 2015. On December 12, the Prime Minister RD Abdussamad Gamidov visited the village of Botlikh to take part in the solemn opening ceremony of modular slaughterhouse for small cattle.

Let us remind, the AgroInvest Company has successfully realized an investment project "Creation of an integrated modular slaughterhouse for small cattle based on innovative technologies in Botlikh district of Dagestan." As reported, the completion of the project resulted in creation of a modern full cycle enterprise and dozens of new jobs. The investment capacity made approx. 200 million rubles.

Abdussamad Gamidov thanked the investors for the successful organization of the modern processing plant and assured that the republican leadership would provide state support for the project within the target program "Development of processing enterprises in the livestock industry for 2013-2015".

"The startup of a meat processing plant is very important for us, because Dagestan takes the first place for sheep production among the subjects of the Russian Federation. At present, there are more than 5 million heads of small cattle and more than 30 thousand tons of lamb produced in Dagestan "- the Prime Minister stated.

The guests got familiarized with each stage of the entire process of meat production. At the same time, according to the CEO of the company, Dagestan lamb would be 40% cheaper than the foreign counterparts. Modern technologies allowed the meat to maintain its quality throughout the year. In the near future, the products will be certified.

In conclusion, the State Duma deputy Umakhan Umakhanov, who accompanied Dagestani prime minister, expressed gratitude to all those who partially contributed to the project.
