The governors of Dagestan and Kostroma region have discussed prospects for economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, the government press service reports. The regions displayed interest in establishing strong and long-term trade, economic and cultural ties relations, the leaders of Dagestan and Kostroma region said at the meeting in Makhachkala on Thursday, December 7.

"In particular, Kostroma region offers to supply products of chemical industry enterprises, timber processing and building materials to Dagestan. Kostroma footwear manufacturers are interested in purchasing raw materials from the republic (skins of cattle and processed natural fur)" the source noted.
