Makhachkala, March 9, 2017. In 2016, the foreign trade turnover of Dagestan amounted to 252 million 600 thousand dollars, of which the exports made 46 million 400 thousand dollars and the imports - 206 million 200 thousand dollars.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Dagestan, over the past year the share of exports in Dagestan's commodity turnover increased by 3.36% and amounted to 18.36%. Meanwhile, the volume of the inter-regional commodity turnover of the republic with the subjects of the Russian Federation amounted to 43 billion 156 million rubles. It is worth noting that, compared to the previous year, the turnover of Dagestan with the subjects of the Russian Federation increased by 2 billion 708 million rubles.
