Makhachkala, May 3, 2014. We, Daghestanis, empathize with the people of Ukraine, with all residents of Odessa, Kramatorsk, Slaviansk and the whole south-east Ukraine.

The conflict and the new government’s reluctance to resolve the situation by peaceful means is leading the nation to a civil war!

The Kiev authorities have proceeded from inaction to destructive measures; the punitive operation is killing hundreds of civilians! Shooting at a "human chain" of unarmed people blocking the road to the disorderly convoy of the "Right Sector" in the suburb of Slaviansk, the fire in the House of Trade Unions in Odessa - all these events cannot leave us cold.

The situation is even more grieving on the eve of celebrating the Great Victory for which we all side by side we defending our common Motherland! Ukraine has become the victim of double standards of the West and the United States, and now, the law enforcement obliged to protect the population, are posing a threat to their people. People are being killed for their beliefs.

There is no doubt that the Kiev government is a fascist and anti-national one. Destabilization continues. At the same time, we get information that they are using foreign mercenaries in this bloody situation. The authorities should realize their responsibility to their people and move from military operations to dialogue with the population! The physical terror campaign against supporters of federalization and changes is unacceptable! National-fascists disgrace their people and each of them will account for their crimes.

On behalf of all Daghestani people, I express my sincere condolences to the people of Ukraine. Many Daghestanis announce revenge to fascists. We are ready to fully support people against who their government is fighting at the instigation of a group of nationalists.
