Daghestan Prime Minister Abusupyan Kharharov meets with Microsoft top managers in Moscow

Makhachkala, March 26, 2014. The deputy prime minister of the Government RD Abusupyan Kharkharov met with the representatives of Microsoft's Technology Center in Moscow, the presidential press service reports.

It was agreed to introduce modern information technologies and services within the project "Electronic Government", which would enhance the productivity of personnel in administration of Daghestani Head and the republican government. The parties also discussed conditions of a single license agreement in the interests of Daghestan authorities. The document signing ceremony is scheduled to hold within the framework of the XII Sochi Investment Forum, in September 2014.

Microsoft representatives will identify needs in communication and information technology of executive bodies of the Republic of Daghestan. In late April, they will present the concept of introducing these services. At the same time, a seminar training on how to work with innovative products and technologies for members of Daghestani Government will be held.  The Microsoft IT Academy Program will be also practiced in the republican Law Academy.

During the presentation Kharkharov get familiarized with the technological capabilities of Microsoft Lync in organizing videoconferences for the state bodies.
