May 29, the Daghestan Ministry of National Policy and the Ministry of Labour and Social Development hold a workshop with NGOs on social engineering at the House of Friendship in Makhachkala, a source in the Ministry of Nationalities told RIA "Daghestan".

The workshop is part of implementing the government programs on "Forming and developing a civil society in Daghestan for 2014-2017", " Public social support", and "Improving efficiency of state support for socially oriented non-profit organizations".

The seminar brings together about 130 authorities – heads and representatives of non-profit organizations and socially oriented NGOs. The coaching staff is: a municipal management specialist from the "Youth Centre" (Stavropol region), Cand. Sc. in History R. Bachkov, Cand. Sc. in Pedagogics from the Daghestan State Pedagogical University Professor O. Omarova, Cand. Sc. in Pedagogics, Associate Professor of the DSPU Z. Gassanova, and expert in scientific work with youth from the DSPU’s Scientific Research Board D. Magomedov.

The meeting is attended by Deputy Daghestan Minister of National Policy B. Magomedov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Development Z. Bagomedov, acting Minister of Nationalities N. Demidova, and Consultant with the Ministry of Labour G. Gajiyeva.

Participants will address issues of social engineering technology: project’s stages of formation, project’s structure, defining the problem, goals and objectives, target groups, methods of implementation, mobilization of resources, the project team, etc., as well as issues of preparing applications for participation in subsidy tenders and grant competitions. Participants will consider in detail all pros and contras of the projects on the example of some prepared draft projects.
