Makhachkala, June 6, 2014. Daghestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov is in Chechnya on a working trip. He is accompanied by Daghestan Mufti Sheikh Akhmad-Hajji-Afandi Abdullayev, Deputy Chief of the Head and Government’s Administration Ismail Efendiev, and Head of the Russian Federal Migration Service in Daghestan Radjab Abdulatipov. Ramazan Abdulatipov already visited a mosque named after Ayman Kadirova, Ramzan Kadyrov’s mother, in Argun.

The four-tier building can place over 15,000 believers. The uppermost tier with an individual entrance on the 4th floor is exclusively for women. By day, depending on weather, the arches of the mosque are changing colour shades from light gray to turquoise blue. At night, 50,000 LEDs and 96 projectors backlight the mosque from 55-meter minarets.

The walls are tiled with rare marble. In the mosque, there is a huge five-ton crescent-shaped chandelier 31 meters in diameter.

Welcoming the guests, Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that the mosque was built in two years. It’s been acknowledged as one of the most beautiful mosques in Europe. R. Abdulatipov noted that this is a grand building. After seeing the mosque, Daghestan Mufti held a noon prayer, attended by the heads of Daghestan and Chechnya.
