Daghestan government discuss a number of critical issues

Makhachkala, July 15, 2014. On July 14, Daghestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov chaired a meeting to discuss a number of pressing issues, the press service of Daghestani Head and government’s administration reports.

Minister of state property management Zeydula Yuzbekov reported on allocation of public ownership of land in Daghestan. By July 1, 2014, 519,000 hectares of municipal land are waiting to be allocated in the republic.

Minister of education, science and youth policy Shakhabas Shakhov spoke about the results of the Unified State Examination-2014 in Daghestan. He noted that in 2014, 26,000 Daghestanis were taking the USE in 109 specially organized points; of them, over 1,500 graduates did not pass it to be left without a diploma of graduation.

Participants also discussed measures to eliminate outbreaks of dysentery in Dagestanskie Ogni town where in the past 3 days, they registered a group of people with intestinal infections. "Today, we have 69 cases of benign intestinal infections, 80% of them are children. They all drank unboiled water," reported head of the federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare in Daghestan Eleanora Omarieva.

Concluding the meeting, Abdussamad Gamidov gave instructions to relevant authorities for the problems to be solved as soon as possible. He also urged the heads of executive bodies to take part in the volunteer clean-up day on July 19, "We need to clean up the city. I ask each ministry and agency to make order on their adjoining territory."
