Modern enterprises for wool processing and washing will appear in Dagestan. The opening of production facilities will make it possible to create about 140 new jobs in the republic. The Minister of Industry of the Republic of Dagestan Nizam Khalilov announced that two enterprises specializing in wool processing and washing will be opened in the republic in the nearest future.

Thanks to the opening of the new production facilities, the region will annually receive up to a thousand tons of combed wool ribbon, as well as wash about 3,400 tons of wool.

"Today there are two wool washing and processing projects at different stages of implementation in the region. Their implementation will make it possible to create about 140 new jobs in the region" - Nizam Khalilov says.

As to the minister, despite the fact that the local producers are leaders of the Russian market in terms of wool production volumes, there are no modern wool processing enterprises in Dagestan at present.
