Makhachkala, May 11, 2017. The governmental meeting to discuss the prospects for the implementation of agreement reached with the truckers participating in strike against the Platon system has been held place under the leadership of prime minister of the Republic of Dagestan Abdusamad Gamidov in Makhachkala.

The deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Dagestan, the Minister of Transport, Energy and Communications RD, the Head of the Department of the State Traffic Police of the Interior Ministry, the deputy Head of Dagestan Customs, the representatives of the Interregional Territorial Administration of Rostransadzor for the North Caucasian Federal District and a groups of truckers took part in the meeting.

The Prime Minister stressed the necessity to solve all the problems faced by truck drivers, given the truckers’ hard daily work. The meeting participants considered a wide range of issues related to the reduction of the transport tax, the improvement of equipment at the weight control posts, the cancellation of excise taxes on fuel, and the other specific topics.
