Makhachkala, May 15, 2017. The authorities of Dagestan and Sughd region of Tajikistan signed an agreement on cooperation, the press service of Dagestan government reports.

"The signing of the agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation took place within the framework of the official visit of the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov to Tajikistan" - the the press service official is quoted saying.

Now the regions will cooperate in the fields of industry and agriculture, science and high technology, architecture and construction, culture, tourism, sports and education.

Special attention and state support will be provided to the projects aimed at the development and strengthening of links between business entities, the implementation of investment projects in the territory of Dagestan and Sughd region.
