The regional prime minister has instructed the municipal authorities and public organizations to provide support to relatives and friends of the militaries, who have gone missing in the special military operation zone. A special interdepartmental Commission to coordinate work has been established. The Commission includes the deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, republican Ombudsperson, military prosecutor and commissar. The Commission will assist SMO participants and their families with issues such as receiving social support measures, organizing treatment and rehabilitation, etc.

Besides, the regional government issued a resolution to create a working group that will assist in the search for missing SMO militaries. The group will provide psychological support to family members of those who are missing and increase the efficiency of search efforts.
