The day before, a book "The State Council of the Republic of Dagestan in 1994-2006. Assessments and Judgments of Contemporaries” was officially presented to public in Makhachkala.  The event was attended by state and public figures of the region who made a significant contribution to the development of the republic.

The author of the book, Magomedali Magomedov, the Honorary Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Dagestan, pointed out that the State Council of the Republic of Dagestan played an important, in some cases crucial role in the history of Dagestan. The members of the State Council delivered their speeches at the presentation ceremony.

Noteworthy, the book contains greetings from President Vladimir Putin, the Chairwoman of Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, the Head of Dagestan, other politicians of the federal level and heads of some Russian regions.
