Makhachkala, June 16, 2019. Today, June 16, the prime minister of the Republic of Dagestan Artyom Zdunov visited the tourist hub currently under construction, located near the Sulak Canyon. Accompanied by the minister for tourism and folk crafts RD Rasul Ibragimov, the head of the government inspected the area around the new tourist hub and checked the readiness of the infrastructure facilities. Not yet officially opened, the hub had already become popular with the holidaymakers.

The tourists nowadays have an opportunity to take a rest after a long voyage and dine in comfortable conditions. Here, the vacationers can drink coffee and buy souvenirs, as well as the hand-made products by Dagestan handicraft masters. For the safety of arriving tourists, the area around the object is fenced with special warning signs. There is also a plot for local agricultural producers who can sell their products on the territory of the hub.

Recall it was the republican leadership that initiated the launch of the project on the construction of tourist hubs along the branded tour routes and in the places of popular recreation. Exactly in such places the signs of tourist navigation, tourist parking and food stations will be installed as a matter of priority. The surrounding area and the access roads to the place of recreation will be gentrified. In total, the project provides for the creation of 8 tourist hubs across the republic.
