Makhachkala, September 3, 2015. Today, on September 3, , September 3, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the North Caucasus Federal District Sergei Melikov have arrived for a working visit in Dagestan.

Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov met the distinguished guests in Makhachkala airport. Then Alexander Khloponin and Sergei Melikov together with Ramazan Abdulatipov went to Derbent. The guests will inspect a number of cultural objects of the oldest city in Russia, which is preparing for its 2000 anniversary, and take part in the opening of the secondary school number 15.

Besides, a meeting of the organizing committee for the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the founding of the city of Derbent will be held within the working visit.
