Abdussamad Gamidov visits asphalt plant in Tube village

Makhachkala, August 8, 2014. Daghestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov visited an asphalt plant in Tube village, Kumtorkalinskiy district. In company with head of Daghestan Road Agency Zagid Khuchbarov, he toured the facility, saw the asphalt being produced and talked to the employees, the press service of Daghestani Head and government’s administration told RIA "Daghestan".

The asphalt plant producing 160 tons per hour has automated and remote control of all core processes such as dosing stone materials, bitumen, mineral powder and dust, mixing them and delivering the finished products. The microprocessor control system provides the best possible economic production mode and equipment reliability being handled by 5 people only – all the specialists have been trained at similar production sites.

Then, the delegation visited Daghestan Road Agency to get a detailed picture of what the agency does and how the new program "Road agency’s all-seeing eye" is working. The ‘eye’ implies a 24/7 online monitoring of all technology processes on the construction site allowing the experts to quickly intervene in emergency situations when necessary.

Abdussamad Gamidov was also informed on the geographic information system for traffic control established in Daghestan. To optimize allocating funds for developing and maintaining the road network, experts need to have reliable information about its current vehicle operating condition. To this end, they use the road passports with constantly changing data - the information is annually updated.

Khuchbarov also initiated a research, unprecedented in the agency’s history, to develop an automated system of information support for public roads control. The system is the best in Russia. They even performed an aerial photography of the easement area of all republican and inter-municipal roads within the project.

The prime minister praised the successful high-performance work Daghestan Road Agency do, noting that all the facilities under construction should be of high quality and truly exemplary.
