Abdusamad Gamidov pays working visit to Derbent

Makhachkala, May 29, 2017. On Sunday, May 28, Dagestan Prime Minister Abdusamad Gamidov paid a working visit to Derbent.
As informed, together with the head of Derbent Malik Bagliev and Dagestan Minister of Economy and Territorial Development Rayudin Yusufov, Gamidov inspected the preparations for the opening of the city embankment.

The funds for the facility’s construction have been provided by the state program "Development of the North Caucasus Federal District till 2025”. The total area of the embankment with a length of 780 m makes 8.6 hectares with an approx. capacity - 4000 people. The area of the projected beach makes 38 thousand sq. meters. The observation platforms, parking lots, an office building had been already constructed. Besides, the master plan envisages construction of rescue centers, service points, mass events, bicycle and footpaths, sports and children's playgrounds. To date, the facades of neighboring buildings have been refreshed.

The Prime Minister pointed out the need to eliminate the minor faults as soon as possible and to install banners for the street painting (graffiti). Abdusamad Gamidov instructed to organize a festival of floristry as part of the official embankment opening ceremony.

Summing up the results of the inspection, Dagestan Prime Minister, in particular, said: "The embankment is ready, the benches are installed and the fountains launched. The townspeople had already appreciated the new resting zone. We intend to officially open the facility in the first days of June. "

In his turn, Malik Bagliev thanked the federal and republican authorities for their attention to Derbent and the wonderful gift for the city residents.
