Makhachkala, June 30, 2015. During the recent meeting with the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, Dagestan Head Ramazan Abdulatipov reported on stabilization of situation with terrorism in the republic.

"For 2.5 years due to the support of federal authorities we managed to stabilize the situation with terrorism to a certain extent; 2014 was the first year we lived without terrorist acts" - Abdulatipov reported to the prime minister.

Ramazan Abdulatipov thanked Dmitry Medvedev for his recent decree, specifying the priority development of the republic. "It's very important for us because the Russian government has shown its readiness to share the responsibility in overcoming the crisis in the republic with us. The Dagestanis have highly appreciated the decision. Dagestan really face deep crisis characterized by 75% fall in the industry, agriculture and some other serious problems. The heads of municipal entities in the republic actually ceased to deal with the issues of economy development, which in far end resulted in the rise of the extremism and terrorism", - the Head of the republic said.
