Makhachkala, April 6. The choreographic ensemble of Dagestan College of Culture and Arts named after B. Muradov "Youth of mountains" has successfully performed at the Ⅻ Moscow International festival-competition of children and youth art "Open Europe - Open Planet" and won the Grand Prix in the category "Folk dance", the Culture Ministry official of the Republic told the RIA “Dagestan”.
The College director P. Murtuzalieva received a letter of gratitude from the President of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CULTURE PROMOTION named after I. Cherkasov and the Director of the festival-competition "Open Europe - Open Planet" G. Frolovskaya for the contribution to the creative development of children and youth and the education of new generation of talented musicians, singers, reciters, dancers.
The festival-competition was held in Moscow on March 25 - 30 under the auspices of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Federation Commission for UNESCO, the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, etc.
The festival founders are the International Association for Culture and the Representation Office of International Children's and Youth Festivals and Competitions in Russia.
