Makhachkala, February 8, 2016. The Club of young poets and writers “Lira” has started working on the basis of the "Theatre of Poetry" in Dagestan administrative center, Makhachkala, the press service of the Youth Affairs Ministry RD informs.

The site was created at the request of the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipova as a result of inter-agency cooperation of the Youth Affairs Ministry, the Ministry of Culture with support of the "Theatre of Poetry" and Dagestan Writers’ Union.

As noted by the deputy youth affairs minister RD Anna Bezrukova, the main purpose of the Club "Lira" is to bring together creative young individuals living in the republic into a single cultural community, to create conditions for productive intellectual and spiritual communication, to provide each member with substantial assistance in unlocking the potential of its creative possibilities and to identify and develop the best characteristics of each individual in the complete and comprehensive communication.

Any young individual taking the first steps in poetry and prose and the high artistic expression lovers can apply to become the members of the "Lira".
