Photo exhibition "Dagestan from bird's-eye view" to take place in Moscow gallery

Makhachkala, September 30, 2015. Today, the photo exhibition entitled "Dagestan from bird's-eye view" will take place in Moscow gallery "Metro", the press service of the permanent mission reports.

The exhibition is initiated by Dagestan Permanent Mission at the Russian President in Moscow with the participation of deputy of the State Duma Umahan Umahanov within the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent.

The exhibition presents four dozen landscapes of Dagestan nature taken by the photographers at a height. Such famous photographers as Hadzhimurad Zurgalov, Magomed Shapiev, Ivan Kozorezov, Rashid Suleymanov, Arif Guseynov and Arsen Aydamirov carried out the project.

"Dagestanis have opened to the world and the world has discovered Dagestan for centuries. Scientists have studied and described Dagestan as a unique country, poets and writers have talked about it in their works. This exhibition tells us about Dagestan through photos.

The beauty of the mountains and glaciers, the indomitable energy of rivers and the philosophical contemplation of water, life in its swiftness and ease, the intersections of earth and sky, sun and snow, stones and flowers.

To travel across Dagestan is not only an exciting road to the mountains, but also a poetic meditation about the beauty and richness of nature, its strength and fragility, about the meaning and value of life, human responsibility for the careful attitude to the world, to the country, to a life " – the exhibition organizers noted. The photo exhibition "Dagestan from bird's-eye view" will last for two months.
