The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Dagestan, the Republican House of Folk Art, together with Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts n.a. P.Gamzatova will organize an exhibition of amateur artists "Originals of Dagestan", which will be held as part of the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.

The official opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place today, February 3 in Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts. Visitors to the exhibition may get familiarized with the works of such amateur artists as Mirismail Seyidov, Gadzhi and Ibragim Sungurov, Shamil Zakariaev, Khadzhimurad Magomedov.

The exhibition will feature more than 200 works in various techniques and genres: colorful landscapes, vibrant still lifes, fascinating everyday subjects, portraits of famous figures of Dagestan and Russia, and much more. Each exhibit is a separate work of art, which shows the talent of the author, his vision and personality.
