Makhachkala, March 30, 2018. The II Forum of young writers of Dagestan has taken place in Makhachkala on March 27 - 28, the Union of Writers of the Republic reports. The event brought together both mature and young authors. Within two days the participants attended master classes, negotiated and shared experiences with each other.

The chairman of the Union of Writers of Dagestan Magomed Ahmedov greeted all those who came to the event at the solemn opening ceremony that took place in the Theater of Poetry. Akhmedov noted that the Forum had become a significant milestone in the republic's poetic world: "The holy goal of the Forum is to preserve the native languages of the peoples of Dagestan". Then came the young poets, who recited poems both in Russian and in national languages.

On the second day of the Forum, the participants discussed manuscripts and paid a floral tribute to the monuments of Suleyman Stalsky, Gamzat Tsadasa and Anvar Adzhiev. The event ended with a creative evening.
