Makhachkala hosts Festival of Dagestani composers
Within the framework of the project, the concerts of vocal-instrumental and choral works, opera and chamber music, compositions for piano and ballet were organized.
On the last day of the festival, a gala concert was held in Kumyk State Music and Drama Theater. That night, the composers Murad Kazhlaev and Magomed Guseynov were awarded with the main prize - the cup "For Honor and Dignity".
The organizers of the festival - Dagestan Opera and Ballet Theater and the regional branch of the Union of Composers of Russia plan to raise the event to the international level.
