Makhachkala, January 28, 2016. On January 25, the exhibition of the Honored Artist of Dagestan Klara Vlasova entitled “Me and my time”, dedicated to her 90th anniversary, opened in the exhibition Hall of Moscow Academic Art Lyceum, the press service of Dagestan Permanent Mission at the Russian President told the RIA Dagestan.
Klara Vlasova’ connoisseurs, colleagues, friends and countrymen - Dagestanis, including the permanent representative of Dagestan Zumrud Mugutdinova came to the grand opening ceremony of the exhibition. Congratulating the artist, Zumrud Mugutdinova noted Vlasova’s enduring friendship and love to Dagestan and Dagestanis, consigned to history in her paintings.
"The title of “The Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan" is the only award, awarded to Klara Philipovna, but Vlasova gained recognition countrywide long time ago. Therefore, she can be considered as a folk artist, including the genre and the thematic subjects.
The exhibition presents more than 200 artworks"- Zumrud Mugutdinova commented, wishing her an active creative longevity. Mugutdinova also read a congratulatory message from the Artists’ Union of the Republic of Dagestan.
The exhibition will run until February 22.
