Hungary hosts Dagestan Folk Arts Days

Makhachkala, august 22, 2016. Hungary host Dagestan Folk Arts Days within the framework of the festival "Summerfest - 2016". The folk-dance ensemble “Dagestan” presented its cultural and educational program for Hungarian children, a spokesperson in Dagestan House of Folk Art reports.

Dagestan artists immediately got on the right side of Hungarian children involving them in dance and entertaining games.Having performed several folk songs in Dargin language, the ensemble soloist Unisat Musayeva continued the entertainment show.

Hungarian girl Baroma Mishto noted that she, accompanied by her family, visited all Dagestani ensemble’s performances with delight. "We are very pleased that the folk ensemble" Dagestan " came to visit our country. Thank you for the joy, emotions and pleasure. You have very beautiful original dances. Come and visit us again. We are always glad to see you", - the spectator commented.

In the evening, the group “Dagestan” presented a half-hour concert program where the national culture, song and dance traditions of Dagestani peoples were demonstrated.

After Dagestani artists, the ensembles fr om Hungary, Serbia, Colombia, Spain performed. The creative teams demonstrated their traditional culture, sang folk songs and national dances.

On August 18, a folk concert took place in the town of Rackeve where Serbian, Colombia, Spain and Dagestan ensembles also demonstrated musical and choreographic traditions of their peoples.

Besides, the day before, on August 19, the ensemble "Dagestan" performed in Tukulja, wh ere the artists presented a concert, popularizing the traditional culture of Dagestan and the entire multinational Russia.
