Friendship House to host Mirismail Seidov’s exhibition

Makhachkala, May 19, 2015. An exhibition "Poetry of soul" by the artist from Derbent Mirismail Seidov will open May 20 in the House of Friendship in Makhachkala, the institution officer told the RIA "Dagestan".

"Mirismail Seyidov received no formal art education – he had gone through only two years of study at Children's art school of the city of Derbent, but, nevertheless, his works are original and unconventional. Seyidov works in two genres - landscape and still life. The Honored Artist of Dagestan Guseinov gave the most exact and clear description of Seidov’s creativity: "This is undoubtedly a talent, a true artist, the beauty of his images is not superficial, not artificial but unique and profound. That is true. In his landscapes we find everything – the beauty, air, lyrics, harmony of color and the synthesis of rhythmic details with the image plane".

The opening ceremony will be attended by the deputy National Policy Minister RD, the director of Friendship House Tekrar Ahmadov, the deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic Elena Garunova, the deputy Minister of Labour and Social Development RD Nocker Surkhay and the chairman of the Artists' Union of Dagestan Magomedov Kurbanali.

At the end of the exhibition solemn opening ceremony the guests will be invited to the show-room to see the performance dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent.
